Alloy
Alloy is a substance with metallic properties synthesized by certain methods from two or more metals and metals or non-metals. Generally obtained by melting into a uniform liquid and solidification. According to the number of constituent elements, it can be divided into binary alloys, ternary alloys, and multicomponent alloys. The structure and properties of the constituent phases in an alloy play a decisive role in its performance. At the same time, changes in the microstructure of the alloy, including the relative number of phases, grain size, shape, and distribution of each phase, also have a significant impact on the performance of the alloy. Therefore, utilizing the combination of various elements to form various alloy phases, and then undergoing appropriate treatment, may meet various performance requirements.
